Johnson best player on offense

COVINGTON – On Monday morning, the West PAC Conference Copper Division coaches met at Hardwood Steakhouse in Covington to select the 2019 All-Conference team for their division.

The 9-0 Iron Mountain Mountaineers and head coach Robin Marttila won the division championship with a 7-0 record in division play. Marttila was named Copper Division coach of the year, also earning a No. 1 seed in the Division 7 playoffs. Several of Marttila’s players earned all-conference honors and special awards as well.

IM quarterback Marcus Johnson was named co-offensive player of the year along with Westwood quarterback Taylor Dellangelo. Johnson’s teammate Caleb Evosevich-Hynes was named special teams player of the year, as well as honorable mention for Defensive Player of the year. Gio Colavecchi of Iron Mountain received honorable mention as the division’s lineman of the year. The West Pac Copper Division All Conference Team follows:
