WAUSAUKEE, Wis. — Jessica Oratch scored 20 points as Niagara snapped a two-game losing streak with a 51-40 win over Wausaukee in M & O Conference girls basketball Friday.

The Badgers, who led 22-16 at halftime, improved to 6-3 overall and 3-2 in the conference.

The game was decided at the free throw line, where Niagara converted 16 of 28 attempts. The Rangers made just 2 of 13.

Cassandra Gill contributed nine points and 19 rebounds for the Badgers, while Alyssa Cretton and Jaida Maki scored eight points apiece. Madelyn Schlies led Wausaukee with 16 points.

Niagara plays at Gillett on Monday.
