IRON MOUNTAIN — SAY Northern Soccer League registrations will be accepted at Dickinson County Library Saturday, Feb. 15, and again on Saturday, Feb. 29, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Sign up is also available at anytime online at www.TSHQ.BlueSombrero.com. Registration closes March 15.

Cost for the SAY is $45 per player with a $3 credit card charge, so sign up all family members at the same time. Please note siblings on each registration.

Pamphlets are being printed and will be available online and at area schools soon.

First season runs May 26 to June 25 for the following age groups: Passers 5-7, Minors 14-15 and Seniors 16-18.

Second season occurs June 29 to July 30 for the following age groups: Wings 8-9, Strikers 10-11 and Kickers 12-13.

Children register at what their age will be as of December 2020.

SAY prefers one coach and one assistant per team, so there is a need for about 160 volunteers. Referees are also needed for both seasons.

Volunteer sign up is also online at www.TSHQ.BlueSombrero.com. List your name, coach and/or assistant, age group you are volunteering for along with the player’s name and/or coach/assistant name for team assignment.

Once you register as a coach/assistant you will receive a rule book and are encouraged to attend a free referee clinic starting in May. Exact dates are to be determined.

“We need your support to keep this program in our area,” a SAY spokesman said.
