LANSING — The Michigan Associated Press voting panel put together its initial rankings for the 2021 basketball season Tuesday. The total votes were based on the polling of a select committee of media members from around the state.

Below is a list of the top 10 teams in divisions listed with their records and total points received. The totals are based on 15 points for a first-place vote, 14 for second, etc. First-place votes are in parentheses.
