MUNISING — In straight sets, Forest Park shook off a long bus ride, as they defeated Munising 3-0, (25-20, 25-22, 25-21) in a Skyline Central Conference volleyball match Thursday at Munising High School.

“We had a successful night in Munising, both JV (2-0) and varsity (3-0) teams won. It has been a long week with three matches, but these girls continued to push through and fight for another win,” said Lady Trojans head coach Bobbie Jo Anderson.

“Gracie Peterson, our senior and captain led the way for us with 10 kills and 4 blocks. Ema Stepien also had a nice night with 5 kills. Our setters Charlie Larson and Rayven Jacobson did a great job running our offense and leading our team,” Anderson added.

Forest Park returns home to host SCC opponent North Central on Tuesday, before traveling to Norway on Thursday for a varsity only SCC match.
