Rivalry game rescheduled

MARQUETTE — Fans looking forward to seeing two regional hockey teams clash in Marquette will have to wait, though just a couple of days.

The Michigan Tech at Northern Michigan men’s hockey game, originally scheduled for Friday at the Berry Events Center in Marquette has been moved to Sunday at 6:07 p.m. (EST), according to Central Collegiate Hockey Association officials.

CCHA officials stated the schedule change is due to health and safety precautions within Northern Michigan’s hockey program.

For those who can’t wait to see the two rivals play, the two teams will play on Saturday when Northern Michigan will pay a visit to Michigan Tech in Houghton on Saturday at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena. The matchup will still be played as scheduled, with the puck drop is also set for 6:07 p.m. (EST), as originally scheduled.
