IRON MOUNTAIN — The 2022 Division 2 All-U.P. girls tennis team has been announced and the champion Iron Mountain Mountaineers dominated the awards.

Senior No. 1 singles player Callie Bianco was named the player of the year after winning the U.P. championship at the top singles flight and Mountaineers’ coach Marcus Celello was selected coach of the year for leading his squad to its second straight Division 2 title.

Along with Bianco, Iron Mountain’s other singles players were named first-team singles.

Aziza Burgoon won her second straight U.P. title at the No. 2 flight, while both No. 3 singles Natalia Brown and No. 4 singles Rediet Husing claimed their first U.P. singles championships.

U.P. champion No. 1 doubles duo Anja Kleiman-Elle Lofholm were selected to the first team for Iron Mountain as well.

West Iron County, which finished third in the team standings, put No. 1 singles Aubrey Bice and No. 2 singles Seanna Stine on the first team, while No. 1 doubles Lillie Schmutzler-Callista Bortolameolli and No. 2 doubles Autumn Smith and Kaitlyn Smith were picked to the first team doubles squad.

Norway senior No. 1 singles player Donna VanHolla was given honorable mention on the Division 2 team, as well.
