Trojans, Nordics earn rankings in state poll
Forest Park is ranked No. 7 in Division 4 in the final Michigan Associated Press high school boys basketball poll for the 2025-26 season.
The Trojans ended the regular season with a 17-4 overall record and will play at North Central (9-12) tonight in an MHSAA District 99 semifinal.
North Dickinson (18-3) is tied with Dollar Bay (19-2) for the No. 9 spot in the AP poll. The Nordics will host Rapid River (11-12) tonight in a District 100 semifinal.
Pickford (21-0) and Fowler (20-2) share the top spot in the Division 4 poll, followed by Traverse City Christian (22-0) and Wyoming Tri-unity Christian.
Tri-unity is the defending Division 4 state champion, having defeated Fowler 49-32 for the title. The Defenders ousted Forest Park in the 2025 state semifinals, 67-46.
In Division 3, Beal City (20-2) is ranked No. 1, followed by Menominee (18-4) and Ishpeming-Westwood (21-1).
Westwood was defeated 76-40 by Arts & Technology Academy of Pontiac in the Division 3 state semifinals in 2025.
No Upper Peninsula boys teams are state-ranked in Division 1 or Division 2.
