AURORA, Wis. — The Homestead-Aurora Conservation Club will host its annual Pete “Toad” Church Ice Fishing Derby on Saturday, Jan. 18.

Entry fee is $10, or free to children 12 and under who must pre-register with an adult.

Fish anywhere and bring your catches to the C & R Bar in Aurora, Wis., by 7 p.m.

Categories include walleye, northern pike, perch, crappie and bluegill/pumpkinseed. The derby coincides with Wisconsin’s free fishing weekend but is open to any body of water.

Pre-register at Bob’s Midland in Aurora (715-589-4400), the Hitch-N-Post in Aurora, Best Buy Liquors in Niagara, Wis., or Whisler Outdoors in Florence, Wis.
