City Park event set for Friday, Saturday

IRON MOUNTAIN — Saturday in the Park takes places this weekend in Iron Mountain’s City Park.

Performing Friday will be Ian Alexy and the Deserters and the One and Only Billy Shears Band. Taking stage on Saturday are Polar Blues Band and Oz.

Music begins at 5 p.m. both days.

Food and refreshments will be available on the grounds; no carry-ins will be allowed.

Children’s bounce houses will be available from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday only. Tickets are $10 presale or $12 at the gate.

Iron Mountain downtown stage, Iron Mountain — Today, Kind of Blues (variety blues music) at Out to Lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Norway Bandshell, Main Street, Norway — Today, Kind of Blues (variety blue music), 7 p.m. at Music in the Park.

Heights Park, Niagara, Wis. — Today, Soundz of Time of the local area (swing, smooth jazz, oldies and country music), 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Sol Blu, Iron Mountain — Saturday, Mike Cini and Ian Alexy of Minneapolis (variety rock, pop folk and blues music) starting at 8 p.m.

Thermal Chaos Pub n Grub, Dunbar, Wis. — Saturday, Dun-Good Riders Fundraiser, with music by Band O’Barley from 6 to 9 p.m. The UTV/ATV ride will depart at noon and arrive back to the bar at 4 p.m. They will also have games, 50-50, food truck and beer tent.

Gateway, Crivitz, Wis. — Saturday, Safe Sax of the local area (variety blues music), 3 to 6 p.m.

Woody’s, Crivitz, Wis. — Saturday, The Dirty Martinis of Green Bay, Wis. (rockabilly music), starting at 7 p.m.
