Strong Bodies class starts Monday

FLORENCE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Madison Florence County Extension, Florence County Aging and Disability Resource Center and Foodwise will offer the Strong Bodies exercise program virtually for middle-aged and older adults starting Monday.

The eight-week class meets online for about 60 minutes Mondays and Wednesdays and goes through a routine of 10 exercises using dumbbells and ankle weights that are provided. An optional nutrition and/or mental health lesson will be available after class.

Strong Bodies classes take place from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., with an orientation/ technology check at 9 a.m.
