MARQUETTE — The U.P. Energy Task Force will wrap up its work at a final meeting Tuesday, where members will discuss recommendations contained in its final report on ways to meet the region’s energy needs.

The public online meeting is set to begin at 1 p.m. Eastern time. Information on how to join by using either a computer or phone can be found at Michigan.gov/UPEnergyTaskForce.

The task force’s final report is due to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer by March 31. It previously submitted to the governor its Phase I recommendations on propane. Both reports will be posted to Michigan.gov/UPEnergyTaskForce.

Tuesday’s meeting will take place in accordance with state recommendations designed to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019.
