SAGOLA — Marcia J. Garverick, 88, of Sagola, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Freeman Nursing & Rehabilation in Kingsford. She was born June 27, 1937, in Hartford, Mich., daughter of the late Clarence and Hattie (Hutchins) Haney. Marcia grew up in Hartford, and graduated from Hartford High School. Following graduation, she received her associate's degree in nursing. Marcia worked as an RN for several hospitals, including the V.A. Hospital, for 44 years.
