EDITOR: This is in response to an op-ed by state Sen. Ed McBroom that recently appeared in the Escanaba Daily Press. His piece voices strong opinions in favor of the tunnel project but fails to explore the facts about Line 5 and the proposed tunnel. He claims the tunnel will make a safe pipeline safer.
