IM girls lose at Ishpeming

ISHPEMING — Reagan Lundholm scored 12 points for Iron Mountain in a 63-33 West PAC/Mid Peninsula dual conference girls basketball loss Monday night.

“We were doing what we wanted to offensively, but we were just not putting the ball in the basket,” IM head coach Katelynn Grenier said. “Westwood was more intense in the second half and that hurt us with looks at the basket. Westwood is a good team with really great guards.”

Madelyn Koski scored 16 points with four triples to pace the Patriots.

Iron Mountain’s jayvees fell 40-37 in overtime, despite a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds for Chloe Maycroft. Anja Kleiman added 10 rebounds.

The Mountaineers (1-9) head to Hancock for a West PAC tilt Friday.
