Forest Park bumps Eagles, 49-38

CRYSTAL FALLS — The final game of three consecutive Skyline Central Conference home games for Forest Park was a successful one, as the Trojans scooted past Stephenson 49-38 in the Eddie Chambers Memorial Gymnasium Tuesday night.

Tommy Showers led the Trojans with 13 points, and eight rebounds, with Keall Emmers adding 12 points for the Trojans, who evened their season record at 6-6.

“It was good to see a more equaled out scoring and getting everyone to score,” said Forest Park head coach Kurt Lehmann. “Emmers and Showers both had good nights with Emmers showing good vision and Showers having a good rebounding night.” Bryce Kuehnau of Stephenson led all scorers with 20 points.

Forest Park hits the road for the next three games, beginning with a trip to Powers on Friday night to take on North Central in another SCC tilt.
