NORWAY – The inside-outside combo of Kody Hendricks and Logan Parolini was too much to handle for West Iron County here Friday night.

Hendricks scored a game-high 15 points, and Parolini went off for 14 with three triples, as Norway knocked off the Wykons 44-36 in non-conference boys basketball.

“I thought we came out with a lot of energy and our help defense was great all night,” Knights head coach Jeff Gallino said. “We hit free throws down the stretch, which is crucial in tight games. It was a nice team win.”

Nathan Thomson’s 11 points led West Iron County. Justin Nelson was held to nine points.

Norway (8-3) plays at Kingsford Tuesday. The game is the first of varsity doubleheader, starting at 5:15 p.m.

West Iron County (7-4) hosts U.P. No. 1 Iron Mountain Tuesday.
