Flivvers slip past Miners, 3-2
KINGSFORD — In non-conference volleyball action Thursday night, Kingsford defeated Negaunee 3-2 (26-28, 25-12, 17-25, 25-17, 15-10) in the Kingsford Middle School Gymnasium.
“Allie LaVarnway stepped into a new role setting tonight and did a great job. We were working through some new rotations as a team, and I am proud of them for coming together and fighting through that adversity,” said Kingsford head coach Jaclynn Kreider. “Emma Allen had a good night on the right side contributing 7 kills.”
The Flivvers return to action on Tuesday, as they host Twin City rival Iron Mountain.
