MARQUETTE — The 2022 All-U.P. swimming and diving team was recently announced and the Kingsford Flivvers were represented by three athletes.

For the Flivver girls, senior Samantha Scott and sophomore Adelaide McRoberts were selected to the team. At the U.P. Finals, Scott finished third in the 100 backstroke and fifth in the 200 freestyle as well as finishing runner-up in the 200 freestyle relay with her sisters Sydney and Sierra and McRoberts.

McRoberts, who was named the U.P. Female Swimmer of the Year, broke the U.P. record in the 50 freestyle and also won the 200 individual medley along with her swim on the 200 freestyle relay team.

For the Flivver boys, sophomore Joey Lundholm was selected to the All-U.P. team.

Marquette’s Nathan McFarren was picked as the the U.P. Coach of the Year, while Marquette’s Liam McFarren and Colin Vanderschaaf were selected as the Co-Male Swimmers of the Year.
