‘Wardens’ to feature UP officers

PERRY, Mich. — Michigan Department of Natural Resources conservation officers from the Upper Peninsula will be featured in an upcoming episode of “Wardens,” which airs on the Outdoor Channel. HERMANSVILLE — The Frank Rodman Community Club in Hermansville will be the site of the Upper Peninsula Trappers Association’s 18th annual Trappers Workshop on Saturday, Feb. 4. There will be several local veteran trappers on hand willing to share tips, techniques, and stories of their experiences in the capture of furbearers from 8 a.m. to about 4 p.m. Admission is free and food and refreshments will be available. SAGOLA — Sagola Township Sportsmen’s Club will host a gun and knife show Friday, Feb. 10, and Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Sawyer Lake clubhouse north of Channing.
