‘Story stroll’ set up at Strawberry Lake
The first page of the story stroll is shown at Strawberry Lake Park in Norway.
NORWAY — The Dickinson County Library has set up a story stroll, using the picture book “Hiking Day” by Anne Rockwell, at Strawberry Lake Park at the north end of Main Street in Norway.
“The story stroll is great way to get families spending time together while enjoying the fresh air — and a good book,” said Crystal Jacklovitz, Dickinsoelementary/literacy specialist .
Each page of the book is posted on a different sign on the 1-mile, non-motorized trail that goes around Strawberry Lake. There are 15 signs in total. Simply start at the parking lot near the kayak launch and go counterclockwise around the lake to read the entire story.
You can show the library you participated by taking a photo of yourself enjoying the story stroll and posting it to social media with the hashtag #StrawberryStoryStroll.
The stroll will be available through Sunday, July 25, and then moved to the North Dickinson area for the month of August.
This activity is sponsored by Hall Orthodontics and a donation from the Friends of the Library for the sign posts.
