MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding a missing person in the area of Hogback Mountain.

Aaron Royal McGeorge, 40, of Marquette Township, is believed to have left his house Monday between the hours of 7 and 11:30 a.m. in a red 2011 Ford F-150 pickup truck, according to the sheriff’s office.

About 8 a.m. Tuesday, McGeorge’s pickup truck was located along County Road 550 near Hogback Mountain. Police said it is believed he went hiking in the area.

McGeorge is described at 5-foot-9, 165 pounds with dark, short or shaved hair and brown eyes.
