Niagara girls hammer Crivitz
CRIVITZ, Wis. — Behind a game-high 21 points from senior Alyssa Cretton, Niagara cruised past Crivitz 60-37 in Marinette-Oconto Conference girls basketball action Saturday evening at Crivitz High School.
Josie Rock canned 19 points for the Lady Badgers, including four three pointers.
Niagara led 34-21 at the half and cruised to a the lopsided victory. Senior Noelle Champagne chipped in nine points for the Badgers as Niagara improved to 2-2 on the season.
“The girls played well tonight,” Niagara head coach Karl Lamoreaux said. “I am happy how the girls hustled and they were unselfish. A win gets us back on the right track.”
Niagara returns home for the next two games, hosting M&O Conference foes Lena on Tuesday night and St. Thomas Aquinas at 5:15 p.m. Saturday.
Nika Guus led Crivitz with 12 points in the game. Crivitz claimed the jayvee victory.
