NIAGARA, Wis. – Ty Colenso scored 11 points, and Josh Weber added 10 more, but Niagara came up two points short against Gillett here Friday, falling 40-38 in M&O Conference action.

“I did play three freshmen tonight, and they did a good job,” Badgers head coach Steve Derwinski said. ” Other than that, we had too many turnovers, missed free throws and blown opportunities at the end.”

Wyatt Herzog sank four 3-pointers for the visitors on his way to a game-high 15 points. Anthony Carroll had 10 for Gillett.

The Badgers (3-11) head to Florence Tuesday.
