LadyCats beat White Lake, 55-13
WHITE LAKE — In Northern Lakes Conference girls basketball action on Friday night, Florence cruised past White Lake 55-13.
The LadyCats contest was game two of a varsity doubleheader, with the Lakers not fielding either a boys or girls JV team.
Madison Neuens led all scorers with 13 points, while Kathleen Seldon added 10 points. Lacey Enders chipped in nine points, while grabbing nine rebounds.
“I thought we did some little things right tonight, things I wanted to focus on,” said Florence head coach Brad Perry. “Kathleen Selden played well in her first extended action since returning from injury.”
Perry noted he wanted the girls to play more focused tonight than they have been as of late. “Everyone on our team did their jobs tonight, and I am glad of that,” said Perry.
“I give White Lake a lot of credit, they play as hard as they can and keep their heads up, despite they struggles they face every game,” said Perry in regards to the winless Lakers.
Florence (9-9, 4-6) hosts Niagara on Tuesday for Senior Night.
