Sidney Tomczak of Florence High School recently signed a letter of intent to play softball at the University of Wisconsin Platteville. Tomczak will be majoring in industrial engineering. Tomczak is the current record holder at Florence in the following categories for pitching: most wins — season and career; shutouts — season and career; strikeouts — single game, season and career.
