A 74-year-old Dunbar, Wis., man died Saturday when the motorcycle he was operating on Highway Z in Beecher went into the ditch and hit a tree, said Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller. The crash that claimed the life of Gary I. Yaggie was reported by an off-duty sheriff's patrol sergeant who came upon it at 12:54 p.m. Saturday, Miller said in a news release. Yaggie, who was not wearing a helmet, was eastbound on a Harley Davidson trike near Fur Farm Drive and failed to negotiate a curve, he said.
